Tuesday's Tip

This is so simple it seems silly but, go back and re read all sources such as obits, wills, family papers.  A name or location that escaped you the first time might be an important link.  If it has been some time since the first reading, you may have new information that will be confirmed by the second reading.  So simple, so productive some times.

  1. I've done this a number of times and it is very useful. Even reading the census page again and looking at the other people on the page. They often lived next to other family members and you might have overlooked them.
