Grandma's house
This is my maternal grandmother in front of her home. She was born here and except for a few brief periods lived here for 99 years. My sister, our cousins and I loved to go to grandma's house. In the summer we spent many days and nights there. She had a big old barn to play in. Sometimes we would hang a big tarp over the cloths line to make a tent and sleep outside. Her lane was 1/4 mile long and the snow would form huge drifts. The whole family would pitch in and shovel the drifts out. The entire family gathered there for holiday. She had big walnut and maple trees and there was always a cool breeze in her house even on the hottest summer days. What I wouldn't give for just one more day playing at GRANDMA'S HOUSE.
